Violins And Cellos *Of Quality is looking to purchase Violins, Violas, Cellos and bows from all over Scotland and from our good neighbours in Northern England. They can be in any condition whatsoever.

Violins And Cellos *Of Quality is based in Central Scotland but travels all over Scotland and Northern England so it is likely we can collect the instrument and we are willing to look at literally anything.

Literally any old violin, viola or cello is worth making a call about. Even though the condition may be bad they are quite often worth restoring. Especially in the case of a cello. Unfortunately modern Chinese violins are not of use. However modern Chinese cellos may be of use.

A quick tip for the uninitiated. many many violins (literally millions) have a label inside with the name of master violin maker Antonio Stradivarius (Antonius Stradivarius) or one of the other great makers. This simply means they are made in the style of these great individuals not made by them. Please do not call us and say I cannnot quite read the label it is something like S-T-R-A-D etc we've heard it.
